Omicron sub-variant BA.2 makes up nearly 75% of COVID variants in U.S.

(Reuters) – The Omicron sub-variant BA.2 is believed to account for 74.4% in all coronavirus variants across the United States, as per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Tuesday statement.
The agency stated last week that the sub-variant accounted for 86% U.S. COVID-19 case as of April 9.
