Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Frankfurt closed with an additional 1.47%. The index increased 1.23%. And the index gained 1.43%.

They were the top performers at the session Daimler Truck Holding AG (ETR) rose by 4.14%, or 1.01 points, to close at 25.54. Meanwhile, Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) added 3.69% or 2.16 points to end at 60.76 and Hannover Rueck In late trade, SE (ETR) rose 3.05% to 148.80 or 4.40 points.

These were the worst performers of the session. Bayer AG NA (ETR) fell 2.03%, or 1.35 points, to trade at 65.07 by the close. HelloFresh SE (ETR:) dropped 0.18% (0.07 points) to reach 39.15 Qiagen ETR: NV was 0.00%, or 0.00 points at 43.29.

These were the top performers on MDAX Lanxess AG (ETR.) rose 5.63% and reached 37.72 Uniper SE (ETR) which rose 4.91% to settle in 24.34 Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO, ETR:, gained 4.39% to close near 25.22
