WASHINGTON (Reuters] – U.S. Secret Service personnel shot an intruder after a confrontation Tuesday morning. It happened on Tuesday morning.

According to a spokesperson, no one was reported as having been injured by uniformed Secret Service division officers. The spokesperson said that there was not any information about the injuries of the intruder or any other details.

The Secret Service declined to comment whether or not the intrusion occurred at the diplomatic residence. According to the website, Uniformed Division officers guard more than 500 diplomatic missions abroad in Washington.
