He asked his government for a revision of Russia’s WTO strategy.
Putin declared that the sanctions were contrary to WTO rules, which European partners have reiterated time and again.
Russia’s economy was hit hard by Western sanctions, which were meant to force Moscow into withdrawing troops that it had sent to Ukraine on February 24.
