WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The Biden administration announced Thursday that it will extend a requirement for non-U.S. residents crossing land or ferry terminals at U.S. Canadian and U.S. Mexico borders to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

After the United States closed its borders to foreigners since March 2020, the requirements were first implemented in November. International air travellers to the United States are not required to pass the COVID-19 negative test.
