White House adviser Singh suggests U.S. could lower tariffs on Chinese goods -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – The White House advised that tariffs on a range of Chinese products, such as apparel and bicycles, could be reduced by the United States to lower high inflation.

Daleep Singh (Deputy National Security Adviser) stated at an event held by Bretton Woods Committee that the Trump tariffs created some negotiation leverage but did not serve any strategic purposes. China already had comparable non-strategic counter tariffs.

He stated, “So there’s the chance.” There could be something that we can do in these times of high inflation and China with its very serious supply chain issues…
