WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Boeing (NYSE:) Co has announced that it will delay the 777X program by one more time. This was reported Friday by the Air Current aviation industry publication.

According to the Air Current, the U.S planemaker plans to postpone the certification target to late 2024 or for wide-body aircraft by nine to twelve months. Reuters previously reported that Boeing was warned by the Federal Aviation Administration in a March 21st letter that their existing certification plans for the 737 MAX 10 (and 777X) were outdated and did not reflect current program activities.
