Gaming Metaverse Pioneer Star Atlas Joins Audio Up to Create Sci-Adventure Podcast

Audio Up has joined the metaverse. Audio Up has announced an exclusive partnership with Star Atlas (NYSE) next-gen gaming Metaverse. Audio Up plans to launch a sci-fi podcast with original scripts later this year. This will allow the Star Atlas metaverse, galactic marketplace, and other stories into audio storytelling.

The eight-episode series, entitled Moon Station Six, is set inside an experimental prison in the far reaches of the Star Atlas universe and features both character and lore from the game as the basis for the series’ narrative. Described as HBO’s Oz meets 2001: A Space Odyssey, the series follows an android bounty hunter wrongfully convicted of a murder he did not commit. Moon Station Six was developed by Jimmy Jellinek Chief Creative Officer at Audio Up. It will include an original soundtrack, NFT drops which unlock unique features, music and original art, as well as an original soundtrack.

Michael Wagner, CEO of ATMTA, Inc and Co-Founder of Star Atlas, stated, “We are excited to work with Audio Up, the great storytellers,” and added, “We have an ambitious program for our metaverse and we look forward working with one of our favorite podcast production studios to tell our rich, compelling story through this medium.”
Star Atlas is the next-gen metaverse. It combines blockchain technology with real-time graphics to provide a game experience designed to last for millennia. As a grand strategy game centered around space exploration, Star Atlas will feature territorial conquest, political domination, a robust in-game economy with player-owned assets and the ability to earn real-world financial rewards – and plenty more. Star Atlas has introduced many innovative NFT products, including playable vessels, to the market since last year. This allowed Star Atlas more than $175 million in revenues. There are several major game releases scheduled for 2022, including a web-based mini-game and a full production release known as the Volant Studio Showroom, which will be presented using Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite – providing cinematic quality video game visuals.

Jared Gutstadt, founder of Audio Up and CEO said that “Building within the Star Atlas metaverse” is an incredible opportunity for Audio Up. We’ve created groundbreaking music activations collectively; the most recent NFT offerings used our ability to produce and write music with high-level talent. Our next phase will add a layer fiction and world construction. We are looking forward to exploring the realm of immersive audio and metaverse storytelling.
