(Reuters) –Elon Musk’s Starlink has signed a contract with Hawaiian Airlines Inc Monday in order to supply the trans-Pacific carrier with wireless internet.

Hawaiian stated that wireless internet will be available on selected aircraft in next year’s program, and both companies are still working to implement the service.

According to the airline, its Airbus A330, A321neo, and incoming Boeing (NYSE) 787-9s will be equipped with Starlink, a satellite internet connectivity service.

Hawaiian stated that it does not plan to currently deploy the service aboard its Boeing 717 planes, which fly short distances between Hawaiian Islands.
