U.S. State Dept backs ammunition sale for Ukraine -statement -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters), – Monday’s statement by the U.S. State Department indicated that the department supports approval for a $165 million sale of ammunition to Ukraine in aid of its defense against Russia.

A number of rounds of ammunition deemed non-standard by NATO were requested by the Ukrainian government, according to the department.
