Alphabet announces $70 billion buyback

Alphabet announced Tuesday that the board authorized $70 Billion in share repurchases. This is a significant increase from last year’s $50 Billion authorization and $25 billion authorization in 2019.
After revenue and earnings expectations that were not met, Alphabet shares dropped by more than 6 percent in extended trading.
