SINGAPORE, (Reuters) – Swiss Bank Credit Suisse Two sources close to the matter confirmed that (SIX) will appoint Edwin Low as the new Asia Pacific Investment Banking Co-head. He replaces Helman Sitohang.

Sitohang was the regional CEO at Credit Suisse since 2014 and will be reporting to its global CEO.

Credit Suisse did not announce the appointment so they declined to name them.

Credit Suisse stated that it is regularly reviewing succession plans and reviewing top appointments in order to implement a new structure and strategy, which it announced last year. It said that no decisions were made by the board.

Low is based in Singapore and serves as the bank’s Southeast Asia CEO. He joined Credit Suisse in 1996, having started out as an associate.

Bloomberg first reported on Credit Suisse’s moves.
