PARIS (Reuters), a French company that provides transport infrastructure services Alstom (EPA) on Tuesday said it had submitted a request for arbitration to the International Chamber of Commerce relating to an earlier purchase of Bombardier Transportation.

Alstom released a statement saying that Bombardier Inc. is the plaintiff and that it relates to the violation of some contractual provisions in the purchase and sale agreement dated September 16, 2020.

Bombardier stated that it will defend itself against Alstom’s legal actions.
