Microsoft, too raised the pricesThe quarter saw the renewal of some Office 365 productivity programs subscriptions. Some organizations may have renewed their subscriptions to Office 365 productivity software before March’s increases took effect.

Russia invaded Ukraine also during this quarter. Microsoft is aware of the situation. disrupted Russia-backed cyberattacksThis was a targeted attack on Ukraine and highlights the company’s cybersecurity abilities. Security revenue is growing fasterUnlike any other category in which the company conducts business.

Microsoft shares are underperforming the S&P 500 so far this year. The wider U.S. Index has fallen less than 10%, but they’ve dropped 17%.
