Heineken set to invest $360 million in new brewery in Brazil -Breaking

SAO PAULO – Heineken, (OTC:), NV’s Brazilian arm plans to invest 1.8 Billion reais ($360.73M) in a new Minas Gerais state production facility. The announcement was made Wednesday by the company.
According to a note, 350 people will be employed by the new brewery in Passos.
Heineken Brazil’s 15th unit will feature this innovative brewer. It will also be “the most sustainable and efficient production facility ever,” said the Dutch beermaker.
According to company officials, the new unit has a production capacity of 5 million hectoliters each year. The focus will be on Amstel and Heineken pure malt brands.
