(Reuters) – Kraft Heinz Co (NASDAQ:) Co raised Wednesday its estimate for organic annual sales growth. This was due to higher product prices, sustained demand for its packaged food and condiments and a stronger economy.

Kraft Heinz is a manufacturer of packaged food, Campbell Soup Co continues to see strong demand for its quick-fix recipes, sauces, cooking tools and essentials which exploded in popularity during lockdowns.

Philadelphia Cream Cheese Maker forecasts 2022 organic revenue growth in the mid-single range, as opposed to its previous outlook for an increase of low-single figures.

Further, the fact that consumers have so far not shown resistance to rising prices to offset a global rise in labor and raw material costs has given them an additional boost. Kraft Heinz did not increase its 2022 core earnings.

From $6.39billion a year ago, the company saw its revenue fall to $6.05billion in March 26, from $6.39billion in January. Refinitiv data shows that analysts expected to earn $5.83 billion on an average, according IBES.
