Meta shares jump 12% after Q1 earnings beatMeta Platforms (FB) shares rose more than 12% after-hours following the company’s reported Q1 results, with EPS of $2.72 coming in better than the consensus estimate of $2.56. Year-over-year revenue rose 7% to $27.91 million, as compared with the consensus estimate $28.2 trillion.
The average Family daily active person (DAP) was 2.87 billion in March 2022. Family monthly active persons (MAP) increased 6% each year to 3.64 billion by March 31, 2022.
Family of Apps Q1 advertising impressions increased 15% over the previous year, while the average price of an ad fell 8%.
According to the company’s Q2/22 outlook for revenue, the expected range is $28-30 Billion, which was below the consensus estimate at $30.6 billion.
Facebook shares (NASDAQ:) fell 48% in the year to date.
