Okay Bears sets new records on Solana’s NFT marketWhile Solana NFT continues to be the market leader, it is becoming a formidable rival due to new projects that attract capital from the emerging rival. A new Solana NFT Project has broken previous records and generated more trading volume that its Ethereum counterparts.
Okay Bears, an avatar collection consisting of 10,000 bears, was launched yesterday. They have broken other minting records in the Solana ecosystem. After being minted at 1.5 SOL ($145) per NFT, the floor price quickly soared to more than 50 SOL in 24 hours.
OpenSea data shows that Okay Bears was the top-traded NFT collection, surpassing many other Ethereum collections. The collection saw over 195,000 SOL of secondary trading volume in the last 24 hours (roughly $20M at current market price).
