China smartphone sales drop 14% year-on-year in Q1

SHENZHEN China (Reuters). Smartphone sales fell by 14% over the past quarter to 74.2 Million units. The volume dropped to levels not seen since Q1 2020 according to Counterpoint Research.

According to research, Vivo took the largest share of the market in the first quarter with 19.7%, Oppo at 18%, and Apple, NASDAQ:, at 17.9%.
