Glencore lowers full-year production guidance for copper, zinc, cobalt -Breaking

LONDON (Reuters] – Glencore, a miner and trader of, zinc and copper has lowered its production guidance for 2022 on, cobalt and zinc after some metals saw lower output in the first quarter due to operational difficulties and absenteism related to COVID.

The company expects full-year marketing earnings (EBIT), to surpass the range in its long-term annual guidance between $2.2 billion – $3.2 billion.

London-listed company disclosed a 14% decline in copper production during the 3 months ending March, as well as a 15% decrease in zinc output.
