Hershey raises annual earnings forecast on higher prices, robust demand -Breaking

(Reuters) –Hershey Co has raised its full year sales and profit outlook on Thursday. The Kit Kat manufacturer expects to reap the benefits of price increases and high demand for chocolates.

Hershey, Kraft Heinz, and other packaged food manufacturers are all available (NASDAQ:) Campbell Soup (NYSE:) Co have increased the prices of their products in an effort to offset the rising costs resulting from disruptions in supply chains, Russia-Ukraine crises and global inflation.

This candy company said that it now anticipates total 2022 net sales growth in the range of 10% to 12%, as opposed to its prior forecast of an increase of 8% to 10%.

The company now expects an annual adjusted profit between $7.91 to $8.05 per share. This is up from earlier expectations of $7.84 and $7.98 per sharing.
