SINGAPORE, (Reuters) – Rosneft Russia’s largest producer has launched a tender for June-loading ESPO blend crude. This is in an attempt to convince buyers that they will pay in Russian rouble currency and upfront.

These payment terms mirror the Mega Tender Rosneft last week, which did not attract any buyers.

According to a tender document viewed by Reuters, nine cargoes were offered by the producer via a tender. They could be loaded on June 2, 6, 5, 9-12, 11-15 or 14-18.

Tenders close April 28, with all bids accepted until May 6.
