VeriSign, a VeriSign company (NASDAQ:), reported on Thursday that revenues exceeded estimates but earnings for the first quarter were mixed.
VeriSign reported earnings per share at $1.43 on revenues of $346.9 millions. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $1.53 for revenue of $342.99 millions.
With 174.7 million domain names registered in the domain base by.com or.net, the company finished the first quarter. This is an increase of 4% over the last quarter 2021.
Taiwan Semiconductor exceeded expectations, posting a first quarter EPS figure of $1.35 based on $16.94 million in revenue. This compares to the $1.27 EPS forecast for $16.73 billion.
