© Reuters Western Digital Reports Q3 Earnings Beat, Shares Up 1%Western Digital (NASDAQ:) shares were trading more than 1% higher after-hours following the company’s reported Q3 results, with EPS of $1.65 coming in better than the consensus estimate of $1.42.
Year-over-year, revenue grew by 6% to $4.38billion. This beats the consensus estimate at $4.08billion. Cloud revenue increased 25% while Client revenue dropped 2% and Consumer revenue declined 8% over the same period.
According to company estimates, Q4/22 earnings per share will be in the $1.60 to $1.90 range, as opposed to consensus estimate of $1.69 and revenues in the $4.5 to 4.7 billion range, in comparison to consensus estimate of $4.36 trillion.
Western Digital’s shares fell 19% in the year to date going into these results.
