Investing.com – Australia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At Sydney’s close, the index rose by 1.06%.

These were the best performers of the session Pointsbet Holdings Ltd (ASX:), rose 10.70%, or 0.29 point to trade at 3.00 at the closing. Zip Co Ltd (ASX) gained 7.88%, or 0.08 point to close at 1.09 Nickel Mines Ltd (ASX:), was up 7.5% or 0.09 point to 1.32 late trade.

Kogan.com Ltd. (ASX) was the worst performer of the session, falling 13.88% (0.63 points) to close at 3.91 Unibail Rodamco Westfield (ASX 🙂 fell 4.36%, or 0.23 points, to finish at 5.05. Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (ASX 🙂 dropped 4.14%, or 3.25 point to 75.31.

The Sydney Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 879, 572 and 398 respectively.

Kogan.com Ltd. (ASX) shares fell 52 weeks ago to their lowest level. They were down 13.88%, or 0.63 to 3.91. Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd. shares (ASX:), fell to 52 week lows, down 4.14%. Or 3.25 to 75.3.

The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 9.37% to 14.06.

The June delivery of Gold Futures was up by 1.22%, or 23.15, to $1.914.45 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose 0.58%, or 0.61, to $105.97/barrel, while July Brent oil contracts rose 0.95%, or 1.02, to $108.28/barrel.

The Australian Dollar/USD exchange rate was at 0.72. The Australian Dollar/JPY traded at 93.15.
