Barclays suspends market making in its own debt after blunder -Breaking

LONDON, (Reuters) – Barclays The British bank (LON:), announced Friday that it had temporarily stopped market making for its debt securities due to a trading error.

Barclays revealed on March 28 that the U.S. limits on structured product sales had been exceeded, which led to a loss.

Barclays said Friday that the bank would continue to assess the possibility of resuming marketmaking in individual securities.
