It was originally scheduled for next month.
Solo stated in a post on social media that “at this time my energies are completely directed to my health and healing, taking care of my loved ones,” Solo wrote. I want to thank my fellow Hall of Fame members for supporting me and understanding my decision.
This news follows Solo’s arrest in North Carolina at Walmart (NYSE.) earlier in the month. Solo was charged with impaired driving and resisting arrest, as well as misdemeanor child abuse. Solo was with her two children at the time.
Solo is widely considered to be one of the best female goalkeepers ever. She helped America win two Olympic gold medals as well as a World Cup.
