Australia’s Qantas to buy 12 Airbus jets for long-haul flights -Breaking

REUTERS/Loren Elliott(Reuters) – Australia’s Qantas announced Monday that it would buy 12 Airbus SE jets (OTC) capable of flying non-stop from Sydney to London. This will allow Qantas to finally realize its long-delayed plan for one of the longest commercial flights in the world.
Reuters, citing sources said that on Sunday the carrier would announce the agreement which puts it closer towards launching record-breaking flights in just 20 hours using the Kangaroo route between Sydney, Australia, and London, by the middle of 2025.
