Pure Watercraft electric pontoon boat

Pure Watercraft and GM’s electric pontoon boat is currently available for pre-order online, with just a $100 deposit — though ultimately, you’ll have to pay at least $45,000 for a boat with a single outboard motor, and $60,000 for twin outboards.
It can carry up to 10 people and measures 25 feet in length (9 inches). According to the single-motor version, it can travel at a speed of up to 14 miles an hour. This compares with 23 miles for twin motors. Each motor produces 25 kilowatts and is powered by a 66 kilowatt-hour GM automotive battery.
These boats also have Bluetooth-enabled throttles and can travel up to 120 miles at an average speed 5 miles per hour. This range is likely to decrease if boats travel at maximum speed.
Customers can expect their first deliveries in the latter part of 2022.
The Arc One
The Arc One accommodates up to 12 persons and starts at $300,000.

Los Angeles-based Arc Boats has a staff of former SpaceX engineersRyan Cook (the company’s founder and chief technology officer) was a former lead engineer for SpaceX’s first stage Falcon 9 rockets.
Arc was launched in 2013 and has raised over $30 million from funding sources like Eclipse Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz and others. celebrity investorsLike Will Smith, Kevin Durant, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The March issue of the company introduced an all-electric 24-foot cruiser called the Arc One that features a massive, 220 kWh electric battery — three times the size of the battery in a Tesla Model Y. Arc says that this battery is capable of powering a 500 horsepower motor. The electric speedboat can reach speeds up to 40 MPH.
Arc One has a light aluminum hull that can hold up to twelve people and 60 cubic feet of storage. The company claims that you can cruise for three to five hours per charge.
It comes at a steep starting price of $300,000. A $1,000 deposit is required to reserve the boat. website. Delivery is expected to start this summer.
Candela C-8
Candela’s C-8 “flying electric boat” uses hydrofoils for drag reduction in water. This reduces the energy required to achieve top speeds.

Swedish technology company Candela recently unveiledThe C-8 is its flying electric craft. The electric boat actually uses hydrofoils — wings or fins that lift most of the boat out of the water — to significantly reduce drag, allowing the C-8 to use roughly 80% less energy than a conventional boat, the company says.
C-8 can reach speeds up to 30 knots or approximately 35 miles per hour and will travel approximately 58 miles each charge. It can carry eight people and has a cabin in the front that sleeps four.
It is also not cheap, perhaps unsurprising. C-8 has a price starting at 290,000 Euros. This is just above $305,000. After selling over 100 boats in America, Europe, and Canada, Candela plans to start delivering the boats this summer. the company saidOn Thursday.
