ISMAILIYA Egypt (Reuters) – Egypt’s Suez Canal reported its highest-ever monthly revenue of $629 millions in ship transit fees in April. This was according to the agency managing the waterway.

Osama Rabie, chairman of the canal authority said that April’s monthly revenue was 13.6% higher than in previous years. This waterway runs for 193 km (122 miles) between the Mediterranean Seas and the Red.
