Aeroitalia to expand beyond Europe from November, president says -Breaking

BOGOTA, (Reuters) – Aeroitalia from Italy will start operating outside Europe routes starting in November according to its president non-executive.
German Efromovich is a businessman that previously owned a stake at Colombian carrier Avianca. He stated that Aeroitalia has begun to charter two Boeing (NYSE 🙂 737 aircraft and plans to add six more mid-year.
Colombian-Brazilian Efromovich stated in video that commercial flights sales will be available starting in November as the airline expands its destinations to Europe, North Africa, Middle East.
However, specific destinations are still unknown.
He stated that the airline will have 10 aircraft in service by 2022 and then add flights between Rome and Latin America sometime in 2023.
Marc Bourgade (French banker) is raising its capital, Efromovich stated, but did not give figures.
Bourgade controlling Argentina’s Avian airline is a boon for Aeroitalia, Efromovich stated, noting that stable ticket prices will help airlines recover from COVID despite the high prices of gasoline.
