Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The Paris closing bell saw the index fall 1.65% and the Paris market lose 1.66%.

ArcelorMittal SA, (AS:) was the worst performer of the session. It fell 4.05 points or 1.14 point to trade at 26,98 by the end. Safran SA (EPA) fell 3.47%, or 3.58 points, to finish at 99.60. Schneider Electric SE was also down 3.46%, or 4.76 points, to 132.94.

Atos SE was the top performer on SBF 120, rising 2.52% to 23.99. Spie SA rose 2.04% to settle at 23,02. Carrefour SA gained 1.14% (EPA;) to close at 20,39.

The June delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 2.41%, or 46.15, to $1865.55 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.24 or 0.23 to reach $104.45/barrel, and the July Brent Oil contract, which fell 0.22 or 0.24 trade at $106.90/barrel.

EUR/USD was stable at 1.05 USD, and EUR/GBP was steady at 0.333% to 0.84 EUR.

At 103.63, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.65%.
