Nasdaq Nordic says investigating price movements after flash crash -Breaking

© Reuters. STOCKHOLM, (Reuters) – Nasdaq Nordic investigated an unexplained drop in equities on Monday. Brokers Nordnet claimed it was a “flash fall” triggered from a market panic. A spokesperson stated that this is being looked into by the company.
The Nordic stock markets had dropped sharply Monday, but were slowly recovering.
Rebecka Berntsson, spokesperson for Nasdaq Nordic said that she had noticed a large price swing on the Nasdaq Nordic markets Monday morning. She also stated in an email that they are in conversation with the market to determine the cause.
Elle stated that Nasdaq did not see anything to suggest errors in their systems in the current equity market plunge.
She stated, “We will be back on the market with additional information as soon possible.”
