LOS ANGELES (Reuters] – Major League Baseball’s All-Star games return to Los Angeles in July following a delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Officials on Tuesday promised to make up the difference by putting on an amazing show.

Los Angeles hosted the last Los Angeles game in 1980. The event has seen a lot of growth since that time.

The event now includes yoga, beach clean-up and batting cages at Santa Monica from July 15-17. It also features a concert, MLB draft, celebrity softball game and concert on July 17.

Gil Cedillo (a Los Angeles City Council member who represents the Dodger Stadium district) said that “This city will be electric”, during a press conference held at the ballpark.

“As we get out of the pandemic, we will move ahead with great optimism because we want this pandemic to be over. We welcome all the country and will show our great city, Los Angeles.

This game pits the top players of the American and National leagues against one another. It was initially scheduled for Dodger Stadium on July 2020, but it was delayed due to the pandemic.

Last year, the edition took place at Colorado’s Coors Field.

Stan Kasten, president of the Dodgers said that “we are the city for big events and large parties” and added that July will be a great month.

It has taken a while, but the end result will be well worth it.

Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers pitcher, stated that he would like to be included in his ninth All-Star Game. This seems likely considering the star-favorite’s impressive 3-0 season.

Kershaw who was named the Dodgers’ All-Time Strikeout Leader last week, said “I hope that I can make it.”

It’s a wonderful place to play, and everyone knows it. Every road team says what a wonderful place Dodger Stadium is, and they’re eager to share that with us.”
