German unemployment sinks in April as pandemic measures ease -Breaking

BERLIN (Reuters – German unemployment dropped in April according to Labour Office data. However, the ongoing recovery as coronavirus panademic measures are being lifted has been slowed down by war in Ukraine.

Federal Labour Office reported that the number of unemployed fell 13,000 to 2.287 million in seasonally adjusted terms.

Reuters polled analysts and found that they expected a decline of 15% to 15,000

At 5.0%, the seasonally adjusted rate of joblessness remained steady.
