REUTERS/Jonathan Erns(Reuters] – U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts stated Tuesday that it would examine the leakage of a draft decision – a statement he said was authentic – indicating a majority of nine justices intend to reverse the constitutional right of abortion.
Roberts claimed in a press release by the court that the draft of his opinion, dating back to February, was true. Roberts directed the court marshal to investigate the leak source.
It will fail because it was intended to compromise the integrity of operations by tampering with the court’s confidences. Roberts assured that no one would be affected by the court’s work.
