WASHINGTON (Reuters] – U.S. vice president Kamala Harris will be hosting a White House meeting with organizers representing workers at Amazon.com Inc., Starbucks (NASDAQ.:) and other companies.

An official stated that Christian Smalls will be attending the meeting as the head of Amazon Labor Union and with other grassroots organizers such as Starbucks/SEIU and United Paizo Workers/CWA.

Official added that the meeting would discuss “their extraordinary efforts at organizing unions in workplaces, as well how their efforts could inspire workers throughout the country to decide to join or create a union”.
