(Reuters] -CVS Health Corp.’s adjusted profit for full year was raised on Wednesday by the company. The increase is due to strong performances in its first quarter health insurance and pharmacy benefits management businesses.

CVS and other pharmacy chains have been able to benefit from the distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations and testing during the pandemic. The company stated that it expects a significant decline in COVID vaccine and testing at its stores for this year’s pandemic.

The net income attributable by the company to shareholders increased to $2.31 Billion, or $1.74, in March 31st, from $1.68 per Share a year ago.

The revenue grew to $76.82billion from $69.1billion a year prior.

The company anticipates 2022 adjusted profits between $8.20 to $8.40 per Share, which is more than its previous guidance of $8.10 or $8.30 per Share.
