Goldman Sachs to appoint Denny as head of Johannesburg office -Breaking

(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE 🙂 will nominate Simon Denny to head its Johannesburg office, and as chief executive of Goldman Sachs International Bank Johannesburg branch. The bank released a statement.

Denny began working for the U.S. Banking giant in September. Barclays (LON.) Plc where he served as the Head of Banking Africa to manage investment banking for Goldman’s South African division.

Goldman Sachs explained that Simon will be responsible for the execution and development of South Africa’s strategies.

Jonathan Penkin will be replaced by him, and he will remain as CEO and Head of Investment Banking for Goldman Sachs Israel.
