REUTERS/Shannon Stapleton(Reuters) – The New York Times Co. reported its first quarter revenue Wednesday. This was lower than analysts expected. It is due to weak growth in digital subscriptions at a moment when other online news sites are trying hard to attract subscribers.
According to data from Refinitiv, the company’s total revenues rose by 13.6% to $537.4 millions in quarter. This compares with $546 million estimates.
