Regeneron Pharma posted earnings per share in the range of $11.49 to $2.97B on revenues. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted an EPS of $9.72 for revenue of $2.69B.

Regeneron Pharma shares fell 33.79% over the first of the year. They are also down 11.63% from their 52 week high, $747.42 which was set April 8. The Nasdaq is performing worse than Regeneron Pharma shares, which are down 19.69% since the beginning of the year.

Regeneron Pharma’s earnings are in line with other healthcare sector leaders this month

Regeneron Pharma’s report follows an earnings beat by J&J on April 19, who reported EPS of $2.67 on revenue of $23.43B, compared to forecasts EPS of $2.59 on revenue of $23.62B.

UnitedHealth beat all expectations with a first quarter earnings per share of $5.49 on $80.15B in revenue, as compared to EPS forecasts of $5.36 for $78.73B.
