Sri Lanka in talks to extend World Bank aid, plans new budget

COLOMBO (Reuters – Sri Lanka’s finance Minister stated Wednesday that talks were ongoing with the World Bank regarding extending its support to the country by $300 Million to $700 Million.

Ali Sabry stated to a Parliament session that the current budget of the island nation was unsustainable. He also said that he anticipated introducing a new budget.
