Investing.comThe Energy Information Administration reported Wednesday that U.S. oil stocks unexpectedly increased in the last week.

Last week’s increase in oil production was 1.303 million barrels, against analysts’ predictions of an average draw of 0.82 million barrels.

The EIA data revealed that stockpiles of diesel and were down 2.344 Million barrels per week, compared to expectations for a draw at 1.341million barrels.

The EIA reported that inventories decreased by 2.230 million barrels last Wednesday, in comparison to expectations of a draw of 0.58 million barrels.
