Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Airbus Group SE, (ETR): was the best performer of the session. It rose 6.12% or 6.28 point to close at 108.96. Meanwhile, Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR) gained 2.08%, or 1.08 points, to close at 53.06; Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST(ETR) was up 1.90% (or 1.10 points) to 59.10 late trade.

Gerresheimer AG was the best performer in MDAX, rising 1.60% up to 66.65 Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (ETR) which rose 0.87% to settle in 3.00 Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR) which gained 0.86 to close at 70.52

Top performers in the TecDAX included Siemens Healthineers AG, which rose 2.08% at 53.06 and SAP SE (ETR) at 1.85%. 95.22 was also reached by Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG. Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG gained 1.77% to finish at 66.30.

These were the worst performers Nordex SE O.N. (ETR.) fell 5.48% to 12.93 late trade. Aixtron SE was also down (ETR.) to close at 23.55. Cancom SE O.N. (ETR:), which fell 2.56% to close at 36.58

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 452 to 244, and 70 ended the same.

Stocks of ZalandoSE (ETR:), fell to 52 week lows. They were down 10.61%, or 3.94 to33.21. The shares of Hannover Rueck SE, (ETR) dropped to their 52-week lowest point; dropping 6.97% (10.30 to 137.55). Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG’s shares rose to new 3-year highs (ETR:), rising 0.877%, or 0.03 to 3.00. Cancom SE O.N. shares fell. (ETR:), fell to 52 week lows. It was down 2.56%, or 0.96 to 36.58.

The June delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.4%, or 8.20 to $1.877.00 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell 0.25 percent or $0.25 in June to $107.56 per barrel. The July Brent oil contract rose 0.06 or 0.07 to $110.21 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.98% at 1.05 while EUR/GBP rose by 1.28% to 0.85.

US Dollar Index Futures were up by 1.19% to 103.81
