(Reuters) – The SpaceX third-long-duration astronaut crew returned home early Friday morning. They splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico, Florida after months of orbital research that included space-grown chilies and robots.

At the end of a nearly 23-hour flight autonomously from the ISS to the USA, three U.S. NASA astronauts were accompanied by a European Space Agency crewmate. The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule was parachuted into calm and dark waters.
