KYIV (Reuters – Justin Trudeau, Canada’s Prime Minister, paid an unexpected visit to Irpin in Ukraine on Sunday. The town had previously been temporarily held by Russian forces, according to Telegram.

Oleksandr Markushyn, a Telegram user said that “I had the honor of meeting with Justin Trudeau Canada’s Prime Minister. He came to Irpin in order to see firsthand all the destruction caused by Russian occupiers to our city.”
