LONDON (Reuters). Renault (EPA) The head of the company’s Russian operations said that in coming weeks, the manufacturer will determine the future of Russia operations. Russia had suspended them in March due to the invasion of Ukraine.

“Negotiations continue,” said Chief Executive Luca de Meo at the FT Future of the Car 2022 Conference. He added that Russia’s exit would mean writing off its entire assets. “But, we know that over the past 10 years we’ve invested significant money in Russia so we are here to safeguard our assets.”
