France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.51% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index gained 0.533%, and the index gained 0.51% at the Paris close.

These were the best performers of the session Euroapi SAS (EPA:) traded at 14.50 after the close, up 5.06% or 0.70 point. WFD Unibail Rodamco NV – (AS) climbed 2.20% to end at 68.73. BNP Paribas Late trade saw SA (EPA) rise 2.15%, or 1.07 points, to 50.92

EssilorLuxottica SA, (EPA:) fell 5.10% to close at 144.10. Eurofins Scientific SE(EPA:) fell 1.67%, or 1.42 points, to finish at 83.38. Thales (EPA:) fell 1.18%, or 1.40 points, to 116.80.

These were the top performers on SBF 120 Orpea SA (EPA) rose 5.62% at 32.52. Euroapi SAS was also up 5.06%, and settled at 14.50 Trigano SA (EPA:), which gained 3.73% and closed at 119.70.

EssilorLuxottica SA was the worst performer, falling 5.10% at 144.10 in trade late. Gaztransport et Technologynigaz SA suffered 3.69% losses to settle at 109.60. Aperam SA (AS) was at its lowest point of 2.73%, falling to 34.27 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange witnessed rising stocks outnumbering declining stocks 271- 269 while 100 ended unchanged.

Euroapi SAS shares (EPA:), rose to new highs, up 5.06% (0.70 to 14.50). Euroapi SAS (EPA) shares rose to record highs with a gain of 5.06%, or 0.70 to 14.50. Aperam SA’s shares fell to their 52-week lowest point, down by 2.3% (0.96 to 34.27).

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0.00%, a 52-week record.

For June delivery, Gold Futures fell 0.79% (or 14.67) to $1.843.93 an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell 3.75 percent or $99.34 to reach $99.34 per barrel. The July Brent oil contract dropped 3.58%, or 3.79, to trade at $102.15 per barrel.

EUR/USD was unaffected by 0.20%, 1.05 and EUR/GBP remained unchanged at 0.00% each.

At 103.93, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.2%
