Goldman Sachs adds to China leadership team

HONG KONG, (Reuters) – Goldman Sachs (NYSE 🙂 has named banker E.G. According to Reuters, Morse will be co-heading the China division and leading its China Global Markets business.

According to the memo, Morse will move from Singapore to Shanghai. He will also serve as co-head at Goldman Sachs China with Wei Cai (and Sean Fan)

He currently heads Goldman Sachs Singapore as well as its Asia Pacific Ex Japan Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities Sales Business.

Goldman Sachs announced separately that Faisal Shamsee, James Ellery, and Faisal Shamsee have been appointed to lead the Singapore Business.

Ellery, currently head of emerging markets and global currencies in Asia Pacific for the bank’s global market division, will be moving from Hong Kong to Singapore.

Shamsee heads Singapore Engineering as well as co-heading its core engineering group in Asia Pacific.

The memos were confirmed by a Goldman Sachs spokesperson.
