(Reuters) – Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:) Inc recalls approximately 130,000 US vehicles due to an overheating issue. The problem could have caused the touchscreen display’s malfunctioning, America’s automotive safety regulator stated Tuesday.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall applies to all Tesla models manufactured between 2021-2022. The electric-vehicle manufacturer will offer an over-the air software update to fix the problem.

According to the NHTSA, CPU heat could cause the central screen not to display images from rearview cameras, warning lights, or other information.
